12 Facts About the Kingdom of God

1. The Gospel of the Kingdom is the primary teaching of Jesus and the Apostles.

Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.

Mat 4:23

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:3

2. The kingdom is ruled by God and His Christ.

“I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. 14 “And to Him was given dominion, Glory and  a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him.

Daniel 7:13

There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.

Revelation 22:3-4

3. God Himself will set up His Kingdom which will endure forever. All other kingdoms will be pulverized into dust. Not a trace of them will be found.

In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.

Daniel 2:44

His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.

Daniel 7:14

4. The saints of God (those who trust in Christ for salvation) will receive the Kingdom.

But the  saints of the Highest One will receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, for all ages to come.

Dan 7:18

Then the  sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.

Dan 7:27

5. The saints of God will reign with Christ in the Kingdom.

If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we  deny Him, He also will deny us.

2 Tim 2:12

6. The structure of the nations will remain intact in God’s Kingdom. There will be rulers in charge of the nations under the authority of Almighty God and His Son.

The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

Revelation 21:24-26

7. God’s promises to Israel shall be fulfilled in the Kingdom; David shall be their prince under the authority of God.

Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations and no longer be divided into two kingdoms. They will live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons and their sons’ sons, forever; and David My servant will be their prince forever.

Ezekiel 37:21-28

8. Israel and the church will be unified in the kingdom as represented in the construction of the Holy City.

And he carried me away  in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper.  It had a great and high wall,  with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on the south and three gates on the west. And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Rev 21:10-14

9. All ethnic groups will be represented in the Kingdom; all will reign with Him.

And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. “You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.”

Revelation 5:9-10

10. Those who practice immorality, wickedness, evil and darkness (as defined by God, not man) will be excluded from God’s Kingdom.

Nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Revelation 21:27

Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are:  immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions,  factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal 5:19-21

11. The pursuit of the kingdom is our top priority, second only to the worship of God.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Mat 6:33

Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

Mat 6:9-10

12. There will be no more crying, pain, or death, no crime, no climate change, no chaos, or violence, or rebellion. All things will be set right with perfect justice and all things made new in a perfect existence as it was always meant to be for those who choose God and His Messiah.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will  dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”

Revelation 21:3-4

I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for this reality. Its amazing, its fantastic and its coming fast. You can be part of it – if you so choose. Repent and believe the good news of the Gospel of the Kingdom.
