In the days of those kings the God of heaven will raise up an everlasting kingdom that will not be destroyed and a kingdom that will not be left to another people. It will break in pieces and bring about the demise of all these kingdoms. But it will stand forever.

Daniel 2:44

The book of Daniel spoke prophetically of the rise and fall of kingdoms throughout history. Ironically, it was the dream of a pagan king (Nebuchadnezzar) that predicted the rise and fall of earthly, human kingdoms. Did you know we are living the prophecy of this dream? That’s right! The prophecy given through a dream of an ancient Babylonian King and interpreted by the prophet Daniel is still unfolding today. We are living the dream. Where does it end? Will there ever be a just kingdom that will endure with the cycle of corrupt human kingdoms broken?

As Daniel told the king of that day, there will indeed be a final Kingdom, not established by humans or other spiritual entities, but by the God of Heaven, the God who has revealed Himself in the Bible. It will crush all other kingdoms whether they be of human or demonic origin. Human kingdoms driven by powerful spiritual entities that oppose God will rise and fall and ultimately be pulverized to dust as we see every day in the archeological remains of past civilizations and regimes.

“In the days of those kings” it says. What kings? Those who are arising even now in this very day in which we live. One more final evil human kingdom is rising and will rise. It will be a global kingdom led by a man known as the beast and control every aspect of the lives of people. COVID was a dry run of the processes that will be put in place to control us all. It will not be based on the truth of the bible but on the great deceptions that are coming, its already happening.

This final human kingdom is coming. Its taking shape even before our very eyes for those who can see and understand. Those who seek to establish a global government to control all people will be successful – it will happen because it’s part of Nebuchadnezzar’s prophetic dream. But it shall not last. It will be one of the shortest kingdoms in history – 7 years. But this kingdom set against the one true God and the Messiah Jesus Christ will be judged. The judgement of Sodom and Gomorrah was real. That is a small taste of the judgements that will be poured out on the earth by the God of Heaven in a 7 year period known as the Tribulation. It will end with the establishment of the 1000 year Kingdom of Jesus Christ upon the earth as the initial phase of the Kingdom of God.

This Kingdom of God is not here yet – but it’s coming soon. It is described in a short passage of the Bible in the Book of Revelation – chapter 21. There are more details in surrounding chapters, but Chapter 21 is short, succinct, and to the point about what I call the final reality. There are two sides of this reality. One glorious, the other, horrible.

The End State for the Righteous is the Kingdom of God

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”

Revelation 21:1-4

The End State for the Wicked is the Lake of Fire

But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

Revelation 21:8

The choice is ours. Which reality do you want? The only way to get on the right road that leads to the kingdom of God is through Jesus Christ. If you wish to avoid the great judgements soon coming to the earth, then you must repent of your sin and believe the gospel of the Kingdom, placing your complete trust in Him alone. It’s not yet too late but it soon will be.

At the end of the day, there are only two gates leading to very different realities. Which gate do you choose? Important question. Consider some advice from Jesus Christ:

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

Matthew 7:13-14 (ESV) 

Don’t waste your time with human kingdoms or political movements driven by godless, deceptive world views pushed through the media by the wicked. Your eternal destiny is on the line. One day each of us must stand before God to give an account of our life. Instagram or Facebook friends won’t be there. Trust me, they don’t care about you anyway. The politicians you supported and trusted won’t be there to save you. They never cared about you either. Nobody else will be there. It will be just you and the Lord, your creator, the one who gave you life. Think about that moment. The Lord wants you saved. He wants you in his Kingdom and has provided you a way. None of us have to face judgement if we receive His offer of forgiveness that comes only through repentance and faith in Christ.

Maybe it’s time to think about where you stand with God. Do your homework. Search the scriptures – the Bible for yourself. But understand that time is running out. Forces are at work suppressing the truth. As a result, deception is flooding in. The day is coming in which access to biblical truth may be more difficult. Before that day comes, I hope this site will be helpful to you as a start in your pursuit of the ancient truths of scripture given by God through the prophets and apostles.
