Everything anyone needs to know about the coming Kingdom of God is right there in the scriptures. It’s always been there.

It’s tragic that even God’s people have so little understanding of something so simple and yet so rich.

I have been a Christian for 30 years but only recently discovered the Kingdom of God. It started with a Bible study I led for a small group about Heaven. As I researched the topic in the Bible I found that Heaven is only a small part of the kingdom. Only the beginning. Those who believe in the lord Jesus, have fully committed their lives to him will soon be in Heaven. But that is not the fullness of what is coming, what God will deliver. The final reality of it is incredible.

This topic is so rich and I am so captured by it that I’ve devoted the rest of my life trying to describe as best I can what the Bible says about it. I even set up this very site to document what I’ve found as I study.

If people could just understand and believe what is coming, the church and even our society would be so different. But unfortunately we are blind, ignorant, and easily deceived.

For myself, I just continue to ask the Lord each day for understanding according to his word and that I could receive it with a good and honest heart.

I feel like I understand this short parable now. At least a little.
